You would have probably heard or read by now that installing SEO on your site can cost up to hundreds, or in some cases thousands of dollars. Well, there is some truth to that notion.  Availing of these services can really be quite expensive.

However, there are some SEO companies that can provide these services without exactly wiping out your entire budget. Most of the time, the prices of these packages would be complimentary to the services that they provide.

Recently, I did some research on the SEO services that these companies provide. I found out that the services they offer would differ greatly. For example, there are only a handful of companies that would offer keyword analysis or research for your website. Fewer companies would even provide competitor analysis.

However, most of these SEO services would give their customers the most basic of on page and off page SEO, such as title tags, header tags, image optimization, and link building. Again, these services would be limited to the package that you would purchase. Let us take link building as an example; if you get the most basic package, you would probably get only around 50+ links as compared to the 500+ links that you would be getting if you availed of the most expensive package.

Some words of advice before you go and purchase an SEO package. One, do more research on other SEO companies out there. Next, read the testimonials (good and bad) of previous customers. Third, always look for a fine print before purchasing any SEO package.
